Yvonne M. Gullison

On July 19, 2022, Yvonne M. Gullison, 103 passed away peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, N.B.

Yvonne was born in Williamsburg, N.B., daughter of the late Percy Gallagher and Clara (Dorcas) Gallagher.

She resided in Moores Mills, N.B. for most of her adult life with her husband of 52 years, Perley, where they raised their two children, Margaret and Don.

Family and friends recall many wonderful gatherings including lake days and Sunday dinners with Yvonne's famous home-made bread and rolls.

Yvonne worked in the kitchen at the Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, N.B. until retirement and then moved into the town of St. Stephen, N.B.

Yvonne was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister and "Nana".  She loved to knit, crochet, quilt, play cards and bowl.  Yvonne also stayed active in her church community in both Moores Mills and St. Stephen, N.B.

Yvonne will be deeply missed and always remembered for her sincerity, community spirit, charity and good humour.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter Margaret Brooker of Rolling Dam, N.B., her sister Margaret (Charles) Reid of Crocker Hill, N.B., Nephew Roger Gilman of N.B., Niece Kim Gilman of Ontario, Grandchildren David Brooker of Hampton, N.B., Julie (Orville) of Veazie, Maine and her great grandchildren Melissa (Brayden) Woodman, Sarah and Amelia Hartford.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Perley, brother William (Josephine) Gallager, son Don and nephew Fred Gallagher.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. from where the funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2 pm.  Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 pm until service time.

Interment at Moores Mills Cemetery Moores Mills, N.B.
