Winslow M Gullison

After a brief illness, Winslow M Gullison passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023 at the Charlotte County Hospital with his wife of 63 years, Lillian at his side.

Winslow was born in St Stephen, New Brunswick, son of the late Phillip W and Pauline M (Russell) Gullison.

He grew up in a large family with seven brothers and six sisters.

Winslow worked as a woodsman, a groundskeeper at New River Beach and later as maintenance man at The St. Croix Retirement Community.  He always enjoyed watching the hockey games at the arena and especially watching his grandsons play hockey.  He very much enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchild.

Winslow married his beloved Lillian M Libby in 1960.   They lived in Lynnfield, N.B., and raised their one son, Robert A Gullison who passed away suddenly on December 27, 2006.

Winslow is survived by his wife, Lillian; three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Taylor Gullison; one great granddaughter, Flora, daughter in law, Debbie; sisters, Marilyn, Janice, Brenda, Rita and Mona; brothers, Glenwood, Russell and Keith; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his son and parents, Winslow was predeceased by his siblings; Roy, Dean, Roger, Perry and Joyce.

Funeral Service will be held at The S. O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, N.B. on Thursday July 20, 2023 at 2 PM.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday July 20, 2023 from 12-2 pm.

Interment will be held at St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, N.B.
