It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda Parker Bell announces her passing after a battle with cancer at the age of 57 years.
A native of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Wanda attended the University of New Brunswick, graduating with a degree in education. Her family and business life was in Toronto.
Wanda will be forever remembered by her husband of 28 years and best friend Blaine, and their precious children, Rachel and Morgan, by her mother Isabel Parker and the late Owen Parker (St. Andrews), her brother Tom Parker (St Andrews), and sister Debby Vass (Peter - Fall River, NS) . Wanda will also remain in the hearts of her extended family, business colleagues, and numerous friends.
Wanda was known for her boundless energy and determination and was the centre of attention wherever she went. Throughout her business career she charmed and managed the needs and expectations of colleagues and clients alike with her trademark red hair, creative ideas, memorable smile and generous spirit.
Friends will be received at Fawcett Funeral Home, 82 Pine St., Collingwood, on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 at All Saints Anglican Church, 32 Elgin St., Collingwood, with Rev. Heather Gwynne-Timothy officiating.
