Walter B. Fairweather
1944 - 2025
It is with shattered hearts the family of Walter B. Fairweather announce his peaceful passing on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at the age of 80 years old.
Walter was born in St Stephen, N.B. in 1944, son of the late Orville and Nina Fairweather.
He was a strong worker man and a very loving husband and father. Walter worked most of his life in the woods and was a volunteer firefighter for twenty-fives years with the Lawrence Station Fire Department.
He enjoyed maintaining his yard and always finding projects to do. Walter’s fun was playing his guitar, other musical instruments and his fill in puzzles.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Walter is survived by his three children; Rocky (Terry), Kelly (Bruce) and Brenda, five grandchildren; Megan, Kali, Kyle, Kayla and Ayla, sister; Donna McLean, brother; Larry (Mary Lou), brothers and sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife; Joyce, brothers; Billy and Brian, sister; Shirley McGlinchey.
A graveside service will be held at the Moores Mills Rural Cemetery, Moores Mills, NB on Monday May 12, 2025 at 1 pm.
