TOWNES - At her residence, Lawrence Station, N.B., on November 25, 2011, Verna Maxine Townes of Lawrence Station, NB. Wife of Orville Townes and daughter of the late Harry and Novella (Scott) McLaughlin.
Survived by her husband; two sisters, Pauline (Wallace) Townes of St. Stephen, N.B. and Eileen (Eddie) Leavitt of Calais, Maine; Special nephew, Kenny (Sharon) Townes of Lawrence Station, N.B sister-in-law, Inez McLaughlin of Moores Mills, N.B..; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Roland McLaughlin, Wallace (Rita) McLaughlin, and John (Inez) McLaughlin; two sisters, Elsie (Hardy) Goss and Mary (Milton) Scott.
Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, November 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment at Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, NB.
