Stewart Fellowes

It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Stewart Fellowes on Tuesday February 13, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.  Stewart fought a hard battle for 12 years with cancer.

He was the son of the late Dorothy (Weir) and Charles Fellowes.

Stewart born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, later moved to St Stephen, NB, where he met Karen (Lewis), who became his wife and best friend for 44 years.

Stewart was an Owner/Operator with Sunbury/RST for many years until retirement.  After realizing retirement was not for him, he worked in the Maintenance Department at Lincourt Manor.  In his spare time, Stewart loved to cook, spend time with his family and enjoyed the little things in life.  He was greatly admired for his strength and positivity throughout his journey.

In addition to his wife Karen, Stewart leaves to mourn his children, Matthew, Arielle and Nicholas, grandson, Ruxton, sister, Kay Weeks.

In addition to his parents, Stewart was also predeceased by his son Jeremy and brother-in-law, Gary Weeks. 

The family would also like to say "special thank you" to Dr Samantha Gray and Dr James Michael for their excellent care over the years.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Saturday February 17, 2024 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 pm until service time.
