Shirley M. Lord
1951 - 2025
It is with great sadness the family of Shirley M. Lord announce her passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, N.B. on April 23, 2025 after a brave battle with cancer.
Born in 1951, daughter of the late Wallace and Sara Arbeau.
Shirley had a long career at Ganong Bros, working in several sections of the factory until her retirement. She loved spending time with family and friends at her trailer at Pleasant Lake, but most of all family trips every year to Disney were her favorite.
A loving mother and grandmother, Shirley is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Daniel) and Julie (Brent), grandchildren, Jodie, Ashley, Emilee, Nathan, Sarah, Brayden, Tony and special chosen granddaughter, Amelia. Shirley is also survived by her brother, Arthur Arbeau.
By Shirley’s request, there will be no funeral service. The family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, N.B. on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 5:30 -7:30 PM.
