Shirley Anne (Ryder) Downey passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Born in St. Stephen, NB, she was predeceased by her parents, Louise (Jackson) Ryder and Harry Ryder. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Kenneth Downey; her children, Janis Downey and Jonathan Downey: her sister, Christine Swager (Robert), several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
No visitation or service will be held at this time.
Shirley was passionate in the promotion of literacy. Celebrate her memory by reading or gifting a book to a child.
