It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Sarah K. Morrow of Oak Bay, New Brunswick on Sunday May 31, 2026, at the Charlotte County Hospital St Stephen, New Brunswick.
Born in 1941, Makkovik, Newfoundland and Labrador, daughter of the late Daniel and Gladys Andersen.
Sarah was employed with Hudson Bay Co in Happy Valley, Goose Bay as a clerk at a young age. This is where she met her husband, Paul Morrow.
They moved to New Brunswick and had four beautiful children. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were older. She then worked at Stedman’s and later worked as a Custodian at the St Stephen Middle School St Stephen, New Brunswick until her retirement.
Sarah always had an open door for family and friends, it was always “have a seat, would you like to have a cookie, a donut or a piece of her delicious banana bread” She was known to make the best donuts! She always welcomed everyone with “loving welcome”.
Her evenings were spent watching Jeopardy with her best friend and sister-in-law, Aggie Morrow.
Sarah will be missed by many, she will never be forgotten.
Sarah is survived by her children; Kathy Morrow, Brenda Morrow-Clark (Ricky), Danny Morrow (Jackie), Wally Morrow (Kelly), her grandchildren; Sami-Jo, Patrick, Justin, Tanner, Drake, Luke, Jordan and Kayla, twelve great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Aggie Morrow of Oak Bay, NB and Agnes of St Andrews, NB.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; Paul and her great-granddaughter; Joy McVay, her sisters; Ellen (Harold) of Newfoundland and Labrador and Grace (Tom) of Tennessee
Family will receive friends on Wednesday June 3, 2026, from 12 pm – 2 pm at the St Stephen Legion 43 Queen Street West St Stephen, New Brunswick.
Graveside service will be held at St Stephen Rural Cemetery St Stephen, New Brunswick at a later date.
