Ruth A. Fraser

It is with sadness the family of Ruth A. Fraser announce her peaceful passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, N.B. on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Born in Little Ridge, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Hilda McKeeman.

Ruth is survived by her children, Julie Chisholm (Dale), Michael McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, (Angela), Cindy Ganong (Brad Speedy) and Susan Garland (Mike Erskine), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ralph McKeeman (Pam), several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Roy Fraser (September 2025), son, David McLaughlin (1982), beloved sisters, Inez McLaughlin, Carol McLaughlin, Freda Daley, brothers, Sheldon and Fred McKeeman.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, N.B. on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-3 PM.

Interment will be at St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, N.B. at a later date.
