Daughter of the late Oswald and Edna May (Thurston) McCray.Predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Percy William Newman, who passed away in 2003.Rosie is survived by one son, Arnold McCray (Theresa) of Augusta, Maine, one daughter, Dorothy Lyons of Lubec, Maine, stepdaughter, Joyce Powell (Mike) of Massachusetts, one stepson, Dale Newman, several grandchildren, great grandchildren , great, great grandchildren one sister, Jean Daigle of Milltown, NB, sisters-in-law, Lillian McCray, Donna McCray. Marion McCray and Rosemary McCray, brother-in-law, Everett Newman (Virginia), several nieces and nephews.She was also predeceased by one step daughter, Marion Fusaro of Connecticut, brothers, Eddie, Theodore, Joseph, Junior, Isaac, sisters, Lena, Elva, Rachel and Mabel.Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where funeral service will be held on Monday March 17, 2008 at 4 PM with Rev. Ali Smith officiating.Interment at Upper Mills Cemetery, Upper Mills, NB.Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Upper Mills Church or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
