EMBLETON, RETA ARLENE (STEWART)It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Reta Arlene Embleton, wife of the late Dick Embleton, on March 26, 2008 at the Charlotte County Hospital.Born on October 16, 1931, in Pleasant Ridge, NB. Reta was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Boles) Stewart.Reta is survived by two daughters, Lynn Underhill (Jim), Fredericton, NB, Wendy Sweeney (John Gallway) St. Stephen, NB, and one son, Trent Embleton (Susan), St. Stephen, NB, special friend, John McCabe, Markham, Ontario, sisters, Bernice Giddens and Marie McPheters (Fred), one brother, Bill Stewart (Rose) and several nieces and nephews.Nan will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren, Shaun and Kristie Underhill, Jason, Jenny and Jackie Embleton, Sara and Ashley Sweeney, 3 great grandchildren, Ty, Logan and Madisyn, Reta was predeceased by her sisters, Clara Stewart and Audrey Newell, three brothers, Donald, Clark and Albert Stewart.The family will receive visitors at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Friday March 28, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.The funeral service will take place at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday March 29, 2008 at 4 PM with Rev. Doug McLean officiating.Interment will take place at a later date at the Harvey Settlement Cemetery, Harvey, NB.Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
