At her residence, St. Stephen, NB, Rachel Elizabeth Thompson, widow of Arnold W. Thompson, of River Street, St. Stephen, NB, Formerly of McAdam, NB. Rachel was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survived by 2 daughters, Andrea Smythe of St. Stephen, NB, Pearle Carson (Gerald) of Westfield, NB, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.Resting at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB (506-466-1844) with visiting hours on Tuesday August 3, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.Funeral Service will be held at the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, McAdam, NB on Wednesday August 4, 2004 at 2 PM with Rev. David Ingalls officiating.Interment at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery, Oak Bay, NB at 5 PM.In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
