Perry L. Wilson
1940 - 2023
It is with great sadness, the family of Perry L Wilson announce his peaceful passing at Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB on June 10th, 2023 at the age of 82, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Saint John, NB, son of the late Charles and Helen Wilson. Perry grew up on Duke and Winslow Streets of West Saint John. He worked as a printer by trade and in his later years he was an industrial security officer for Irving at several locations and was frequently found at "Perry’s Gate".
After his retirement Perry and Helena built their retirement home in St. Stephen NB. He spent some time travelling with his wife and enjoyed frequent trips to Bangor, ME.
He enjoyed summers spent with his grandchildren at the Milltown pool and going for picnics. One of his many achievements in life was his walking endurance. He frequently walked the Irving Nature Park (7 km trail). He was proud to say that his start to finish time was 55 minutes when he was in his 70’s.
A devoted loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by beloved wife of 54 years Helena Wilson, daughters Charlene Nancy Wilson and Erica Stephanie Meunier (Wilson) grandchildren, Haillie Easton Wilson, Edward Charles Theodore Meunier, Ashley Theresa Marie Meunier, Rachel Kathleen Meunier, as well as, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Charles Wilson and sister-in-law Dorothy (Fennell) Wilson.
He will be forever loved and missed by his family.
In keeping with Perry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held by the family.
