Paul Cloney
1967 - 2024
He was the son of Karen J. Cloney of London, Ontario and the late Paul I. Cloney Sr.
Paul is survived by his biggest supporting fan, his sister Lori (Terry) Keating and his son, Davan G. Cloney, who was his most valuable player.
He was given unwavering support by his uncle, Allen Weeks and aunt, Wendy Upham throughout his hard-fought battle, graciously always giving him home ice advantage.
Paul’s roster of top draft picks included the Cloney Boys, who were more like brothers than uncles, the many clan members on both the Weeks' and the Cloney sides of the family and a packed house including his niece, nephews and many, many beloved fans and friends.
Paul has hung up his skates, and left the building, jokingly signing off the broadcast with his signature line, "Hockey is Stupid"!
Drop into the locker room at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, N.B. on Wednesday, July 17th any time between 1 and 3 pm before his number is finally retired.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, who were always so supportive and helpful of Paul.
