Norma L. Caldwell

1936 - 2021

Norma L. Caldwell passed away peacefully at Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, with her daughter by her side.

Born in Woodstock, NB in 1936, Norma was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Vera (McIntosh) Sewell.

The family moved to Little Ridge, NB in 1950. After graduation from St Stephen High School, Norma attended and graduated from Lady Dunn Trade School as a beautician. She worked as a hairdresser in her own shop for 24 years.

She also had a passion for her flower garden, watching birds, knitting and quilting.

Norma was also a Past Worthy Matron of Queen Mary Chapter # 4 Eastern Star and Past  District Deputy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of New Brunswick. She also enjoyed her time as a "Red Hatter".

Survived by her daughter, Paulette (David) Holder, son, Curtis (Janet) Caldwell, grandson, Ian (Korinne) Caldwell, two great-granddaughters, sister, Rosamond (Roger) Collins, sister-in-law, Muriel Caldwell, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Paul E. Caldwell.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1 PM. There will be no visitation held.

Please be advised, that due to mandatory regulations imposed by the New Brunswick government, everyone 12 years of age and older, must show proof of vaccination or medical exemption certificate and government issued ID to attend the funeral service or visitation. Face masks must be worn at all times while in the building.
