1935 - 2021
CALCOS- At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, March 27, 2021, Norma J. (Joan)(Sloan) Calcos of McAdam, NB wife of the late George Calcos. Born June 24, 1935 at Magaguadavic, York Co., NB, daughter of the late George and H. Christine (Fraser) Sloan.
Joan is survived by two sons, Terry Ramsey of Fredericton, NB and Tim Ramsey (Caroline) of Toronto, ON, grandchildren, Christopher, Dylen, Leah, Brendan, Rachelle Chedore and Jason as well as great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Janet Sloan, Barbara Sloan, Leanne Sloan, several nieces and nephews.
Joan was the last surviving member and only daughter of her immediate family, predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers, Travis, Perry, Gerald, Elwood, Marvin, Theodore, Gary, and infant brother, Calvin.
A graveside service will be held, time and day will be announced at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
