At the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home, St. Andrews, NB, January 15, 2005, Nora Mavis (Smith) Leighton of St. Andrews, NB. Survived by her husband; Rev. Canon Eric A. Leighton, one daughter; Mavis Thompson of Saco Me. and Melbourne, Fla., two granddaughters; Rae Mavis of Saco, Me. and Erica May of Manhattan, New York. Nora served in England during World War 11 with the A.T.S. as a ambulance driver. By request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday January 19, 2005 at 2 PM. from All Saints Anglican Church, King Street, St. Andrews, NB. with Archdeacon J.F.N. Jones and Rev. Canon John Matheson officiating.Order of Eastern Star service will be held Wednesday at 1PM from the church.For those who wish memorials to the S.P.C.A. or the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.The S.O.
