Nicole E. Adams

Nicole E Adams passed away unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, N.B. on August 22, 2025 at the age of 56.

Born in St. Stephen, Nicole was the daughter of the late Phyllis M. McLaughlin.

Nicole enjoyed riding horses, camping, talking on the phone to her sister for hours, as well as her "partying" days at the Adams’ where she met and eventually married Bill.

She started her working career at Ganong’s. She decided to return to school, obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from St. Thomas University and was employed with the Province of New Brunswick as a Social Worker.

Nicole was a dedicated wife and mother, and she loved her family dearly.

Nicole is survived by her loving husband Bill, two sons, Shane (Skylar) and Jacob, sister Julia (Arthur) Adams, brother, Galen McLaughlin, sisters-in-law, Angela Adams, Carol Jackson (Jeremy), uncle, Leo McLaughlin (Bea), many nieces, nephews, cousins and special cousin, Larry McLaughlin.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Russell and Mary McLaughlin, special cousin, Dustin McLaughlin, and her mother and father-in-law, Mary and Arthur Adams.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B.  on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12-2 PM.
