Neil E. Morrow

1961 - 2023

It is with great sadness the family of Neil E. Morrow announce his passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. on Thursday, July 6, 2023. peacefully with his loving family at his side.

Neil was born In St. Stephen, N.B., son of Agnes (MacFarlane) Morrow and the late Raymond Morrow.

Neil was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, firefighter, and a passionate Boston Bruins fan. Above all else, Neil enjoyed spending time with his family, whether building swing sets or dollhouses, he was happiest when doing something special for his grandchildren. He loved spending time outdoors; hunting, fishing or just going to the camp in Pine Valley, if it didn't interfere with a Bruins game, of course. Apart from watching the Bruins- Neil loved playing hockey, coaching hockey, and watching his sons and grandchildren play.

Neil spent 42 years working for the town of St. Stephen and was proud to be a fire driver for the last 31 years. Neil considered his fellow firefighters to be a second family to him throughout his career and after.

Neil is survived by his wife Laura-Ann (Laurie) Morehouse, children, Becky (Denis), Shawna (Justin), Derek (Frances), Graham (Jennifer), and Keri, his mother, Agnes, brothers, Steven (Sherry), John (Laurie) and Edward, twenty-one grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, Neil was predeceased by his grandson, Mitchell, stepson, Julian, and cousin (but more like a brother) Dave.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 10 from 4-8 PM.

Interment at Oak Bay Cemetery, Oak Bay, N.B.
