At Passamoquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB, on February 20, 2012, Muriel Alice Sutherland of Rollingdam, NB. Wife of Edward H. Sutherland and daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Orr) Emmerson.

Survived by her husband; five sons, Dale Duplissea (Alice) of Rollingdam, N.B., Blaine Sutherland (Janice) of Waweig, N.B., Ronald Sutherland (Carol) of Rollingdam, N.B., Rick Sutherland (Suzanne) of Rollingdam, N.B., Bert Sutherland (Colleen) of Moncton, N.B.; one daughter, Marlene McIver (Philip J.)of Rollingdam, N.B.; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Murchie Emerson of Rollingdam, N.B.; one sister, Audrey Mitchell (Morton) of St. Andrews, N.B.; special cousin, Irma Provost (Edward) of Albion, Maine; nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents; one son, Roger Sutherland; one granddaughter, Donna Lynn Sutherland.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Interment at the Rollingdam United Church Cemetery, Rollingdam, N.B.
