CRAIG, MIRL EDWARD-at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB April 7th, 2009, Mirl Edward Craig. Beloved husband of Thelma (May) Craig, of McAdam. Mirl was born in Hillside, NB May 21st, 1923, the son of the late Glasier and Gertrude (MacDonald) Craig., Mirl was also predeceased by his first wife, Rona. Mirl was a conductor for the CPR for many years, retiring in 1982. He served as President of the McAdam Chamber of Commerce for more than twenty-five years and was a member of Ashler Masonic Lodge #36 and Order of Eastern Star #13 McAdam, NB. Mirl was a devout member of St. George’s Anglican Church, McAdam, NB.Besides his wife Thelma, he is survived by sons; Stephen (Colleen) and Dale of Fredericton, NB, Dean of Alliston, ON., one daughter; Gail of Woodstock, NB, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters; Mabel Sharpe Woodstock, NB, Shirley Stinson, McAdam, NB, Connie (Roland) Rioux, Fredericton, NB, one brother Clair (Sheila) of Fredericton as well as nieces and nephews.Funeral services to be held at St. George’s Anglican Church Wednesday May 13th, 2009, at 2 PM with Rev. Kevin Cross officiating. Luncheon to follow at the church hall. Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. Arrangements were entrusted to S.O. Mehan and Son Ltd. St. Stephen, NB.
