Merwyn McCaffrey

It is with great sorrow that the family announce the passing of Merwyn O. McCaffrey on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Lincourt Manor,  St. Stephen, NB.

Born in Baillie, NB, daughter of the late James and Annie Jackson.

Merwyn is survived by her children, S. Marlene Sewell (Harry), Linda Ames (Robert), Dwayne McCaffrey (Andrea) and Dennis McCaffrey (Sandra), grandchildren; Jason, Carolyn (Guy), Matthew (April), Amy (Scott), Joshua (Katie), Jonathan (Rebecca), Laura (Emile), Jeremy (Jennifer) and Brittney (Jonathan), great grandchildren; Isaac, Abby, Olivia, Jesse, Carina, Sydney, Drew, Donavan, L.J., Travis, Jaxon, Shawn, Tyson, Erik, Hannah, Elliott and Avery, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Merwyn was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, siblings, Ethel Linton (Donald), Ellery Jackson (Louise) and Velma Mitchell (Lloyd).

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street  St Stephen, NB. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2 pm, with  Rev. Mark Hovey officiating.  Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until service time.

Interment at St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, NB.
