Mavis A. Rouse
1943 - 2026
With deep sadness, that family announce the sudden passing of Mavis A. Rouse at the Dr. Everett Chambers Hospital Fredericton, NB, after a tragic accident in Brockway, NB.
Born in Minto, NB in 1943, daughter of the late William and Mabel Madore.
Before Mavis met the love of her life, she worked as a nurse’s aid. She then married Donald and became a homemaker in their own home while raising their son, Thomas. After many years as a staying at home, she had decided to go back into the work force and worked in the kitchen at UNB Fredericton until her retirement.
Mavis is survived by her son; Thomas (Samantha Byres) of Halifax, NS and two sisters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; Donald L Rouse, three brothers and two sisters.
In keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation held.
