The death of M. Adelaide (St. Thomas) Tuddenham occurred at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB on Sunday, June 13, 2004. Born in Mazerolle Settlement, NB on March 14,1915, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Annie May (King) St. Thomas.Adelaide attended Normal School in Fredericton, NB. In 1939, she married the late George Frederick Arthur Tuddenham. Her chosen career was as a school teacher retiring from St. Stephen Elementary School in 1981. She enjoyed working with children and would even have been considered to be a child at heart herself. She and her husband enjoyed travelling, spending time in the summer camping and getting together with family and friends. She was a loyal parishioner of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Stephen, NB.Adelaide is survived by her son, Fred (Janet) Tuddenham, Oak Bay, NB, three grandchildren, Tanis (Mike) Taylor, Mazerolle Settlement, NB, Todd Tuddenham, Oak Bay, NB and Troy (Nancy) Tuddenham, St. David Ridge, NB, six great grandchildren, one sister. Marguerite Johnston, St. David Ridge, NB, nieces and nephews. Her family will cherish her memory.Adelaide was predeceased by her husband, her parents and one sister, Clementine Yeowell.Interment service will be held on Thursday, June 17,2004 at 12:30 p.m., at the St. David Ridge Cemetery, St. David Ridge, NB.Arrangements in care of The S.O.
