Marjorie Eleanor Boyd

BOYD- Marjorie E. Boyd, age 92, a resident of St. Stephens, New Brunswick, died Monday April 13th while visiting at the home of her son James Cameron and his wife Gail of Livermore Falls. She was born on July 2, 1916 in Springhill, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Malcolm and Annie (DeWolfe) Brown and was educated in the local schools. In 1926 she married Aubrey Cameron, they later divorced. Marjorie worked in the local woolen mill and during World War II worked for the shell shop in Trenton, Nova Scotia. Marjorie also worked for the hospital in St. Stephens and for 35 years did knitting for Cottage Crafts. In 1951 she married Charles Granville Boyd, he passed away in 1977. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and the Maple Leaf Temple #30 of St. Stephens. She always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a son James Cameron and his wife Gail of Livermore Falls, five grandchildren, Douglas, Dwayne, Dana, Delinda and Darlene; three great-grandchildren, Devin, Derrick and Pheobe and two step-grandchildren, Brack and Brady. Funeral services will be held at the St. Stephens Presbyterian Church, School Street, St. Stephen, NB on Saturday May 23, 2009 at 2 PM.Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
