Margaret V. McLaughlin

It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret V McLaughlin on Sunday September 7, 2025, at Lincourt Manor St Stephen, NB.

Born in 1935, the daughter of the late Hazen and Flora Townes.

Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her daughters; Colleen Brown (Perry) and Theresa Gorhos (Bill), four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Charles L. McLaughlin, two sisters and two brothers.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street St Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 10, 2025, at 2 pm with Pastor Gord Walsh officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 pm until service time.

Interment at the St Stephen Rural Cemetery St Stephen, NB

The family would like to thank the management and staff of The St Stephen Senior’s Complex and Lincourt Manor for the excellent that Margaret received while residing there.
