AMES- It is with great sadness that the son, daughters and sister announce the passing of Margaret Regena Ames at the Charlotte County Hospital , St. Stephen, N.B. March 14, 2007 Regena was the wife of the late John Stewart Ames of Veazey St. St. Stephen, N.B. and daughter of the late Alden and Ethel(Devlin) Davidson.Survived by 4 daughters; Marilyn Smith (Michael) St. Stephen, N.B., Shirley Gibson(Ronald) Calais, Maine, Margaret Hayre(David) St. Stephen, N.B. and Andrea Acheson St. Stephen, N.B., 1 Son, David(Beth)St. Stephen, N.B.,16 grandchildren , 11 great grandchildren, daughter in law Carolyn , Amherst, N.S., 1 sister Mary Cloney(James) St. Stephen, N.B., several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Gary, her brother Philip Davidson and her sister Beatrice Hannan.Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Union Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, and N.B. on Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment at Milltown Roman Catholic Cemetery.In lieu of flowers remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
