Margaret J. Dinsmore
1938 - 2025
It is with broken hearts, the family announce the passing of Margaret J. Dinsmore of St Stephen, NB January 15, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB., wife of the late Douglas Dinsmore.
Margaret born in Windsor, NB, 1938, daughter of the late Charles and Christina Newlands.
She spent her Registered Nursing career at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB until her retirement. Margaret was past member of St. Stephen Golf Club, St Stephen Curling Club, St. Stephen Lionettes and UCW Kirk McColl Church.
Margaret is survived by her children; Kevin (Kim), David (Amanda), Susan (John) and Lisa (Brian), grandchildren; Danielle (Scott), Luke (Kayla), Morgan (Kyle), Mallory (Riley), Christina (Peter), Paige and Hunter (Callie), great-grandchildren; Alia, Lochlan, Leni and Amelia, siblings; Alexander, Carol and Grace, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she is also predeceased by grandson; Isaac, brothers; Charles and Donnie, sisters; Jenny, Betty, Elsie and Kay.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at 3 pm from The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street St. Stephen, NB.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday January 20, 2025, from 6 pm – 8 pm and on Tuesday from 1 pm – 2:45 pm.
