HUNTLEY- Lottie Loleta (Bishop) Huntley, 93, of St. Andrews passed away peacefully in Charlotte County Hospital on November 13, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Lottie was born in Chipman, NB, January 9, 1915 and raised in Moncton. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Demmons) Bishop and was the last remaining member of her immediate family. She moved from Moncton to Grand Manan after marrying Vance Rupert Huntley in 1933. She raised her family on Grand Manan then later moved to Eastport, Maine where she was an active community member. Upon retirement, she and Vance lived in St. Andrews where they enjoyed their remaining years together. Lottie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was passionate about her Church, Bible study, her bridge games and the quilting groups she belonged to for many years. She made many friends through these organizations, all of whom will miss her. Lottie was a member of Pythian Sisters, St. Andrews Seniors, Spin Drifters, Shiretown Quilters, St. Andrews Baptist Church, Ladies Bible Study Group, Baptist Quilters, and International Square Dancers Association.Lottie was predeceased by two grandchildren, her husband, Vance and her son, Robert. Her special love was her family. She will be mourned by daughters, Joyce Tatton and her husband Gene of St. Andrews, NB; Jacqueline Cowie and her husband Eugene, of Kingston, NS; Janet Ingersoll of North Head, Grand Manan; and her son, Albion Huntley and his wife, Pauline, of South Portland, Maine. Lottie will be greatly missed by her 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.Visitation in Lottie’s honor will be held at the St. Andrews Baptist Church, King Street, St. Andrews, NB on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 2 to 4. Funeral Service will be held at the church on Saturday November 15, 2008 at 2 PM.Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Grand Manan, NB on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 1 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Andrews Baptist Church Building Fund, 115 King Street, St. Andrews, NB E5B 1X8Arrangements in care of The S.O.
