He is survived by nine children June Purdy Oak Haven, Joan Anderson St. Stephen, N.B., Nancy Erskine (Bill) Bocabec, N.B. Brenda Berriault Bocabec, N.B. George Purdy (Kathy)Oak Haven. Valerie Fairweather (David) Waweig, N.B., Chester Purdy Pennfield, N.B. Joyce and Tammy Purdy, Oak Haven, N.B. 15 grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren Five sisters and several nieces and nephews. and companion Lillian Greenlaw.Predeceased by two sons Steven and David and grandson Matthew Purdy.Resting at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd. 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. (506-466-1844) from where funeral service will beheld on Wednesday September 20, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Kaye Clowater officiating. Interment at the Oak Bay Cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday September 18, 2006 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday September 19, 2006 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
