Keith C. Mann, 67, a devoted father, father-in-law, husband, papa, uncle, brother, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2026, in St. Stephen, NB.
Although born at Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen in 1959 to Andrew and Ruth (MacFarland) Mann, Keith was, above all, a proud Little Ridger. He often spoke fondly of his childhood, his dogs, Skidder and Firebolt, and spending time with his father and four brothers hunting, cutting wood, and fishing along the Saint Croix River, while also helping his mother on the family homestead.
Keith loved sharing stories about going to school in the one-room schoolhouse in Little Ridge, where he formed lifelong friendships with the children on the Ridge. They spent many good, fun years together, one highlight being playing softball for the Little Ridge team.
Following the passing of his father in 1974, Keith traveled to Thunder Bay, Ontario, at the age of 15 to work cutting wood to help support his family back home. He was asked to bring his own chainsaw and delighted in telling the story of how he was allowed to carry it on a commercial plane.
After Ruth married Burton Lindsay in 1975, Keith was thrilled by the arrival of his little sister in 1977. Keith shared many happy memories of growing up alongside her and their brothers and supporting each other through the tragic passing of their brother Tony in 1979.
Anyone who knew Keith knew he had the gift of gab. He loved telling stories about his childhood on the Ridge, his time serving in the reserves, working at the tavern, countless hunting and fishing adventures, and his years working in the glass business. One of his greatest achievements was founding the Glass Guys and teaching the trade to, and operating the business side by side with, his son Troy. But above all else, Keith's greatest pride and joy was his family and being a papa.
Keith married Cindy (Upham) in 1983, and together they shared many happy years and raised five children. They created countless treasured memories together in the outdoors, at concerts, and while traveling. Keith taught his children the importance of family, hard work, helping others, and honesty—values they will carry with them always. To his family, Keith will be remembered as the shoulder you could lean on, the ear that would listen, the protector, and the voice of guidance and support. His children will remember the laughter and fun he brought to their family home—playing jokes, eating lots of ice cream and singing and dancing sporadically to their favorite songs. Keith never missed an opportunity to tell his children and grandchildren how proud he was of them and how deeply he loved them. These memories, and the love he shared so freely, will remain with us always. We will never forget.
He leaves behind his wife, Cindy; children, Tony (Amy), Troy (Bethany), Tyler (Nick), Candace (Stephen), and Kayla (Ben); grandchildren, Jerin, Brad, Ryan, Madison, Dawson, Charlie, Andrew, Xavier, Tori, Eli, Alexis, Anna, John, and Ian; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Mallory, Kysen, and Lainey; siblings, Andy (Lynn) and Amy-Jo; parents-in-law, Myron and Della Upham; brother-in-law, Greg Upham; sisters-in-laws, Sandra McKeeman and Lynn Mann; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew; mother, Ruth; stepfather, Burton; brothers, Roger and Tony; and sisters-in-laws, Darlene Mann and Patty Upham.
