Julie Dean

Julie Dean, 63, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from triple negative breast cancer. She was born in Sudbury, Ontario, daughter of the late Jovan and Joan Martinovic.

Julie lived an exciting life filled with travel and adventure. From living and venturing around Europe, to starting her career as a flight attendant and traveling the world through work. That travel then landed her in Dubai, UAE where she met and lived with her husband Paul for several years before welcoming a baby girl. Julie and her husband then moved back to Canada, where they added a baby boy to their family and continued to live in British Columbia for 13 years before embarking on a new adventure in St. Stephen, NB in 2010.

Julie is survived by her two children, Emily Dean (Mitchell) and Alexander Dean. In addition to her parents, Julie was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul H. Dean.

The family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 6-8 PM.
