At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on January 8, 2012, Joseph Raymond Bourque of St. Stephen, NB. Companion of Nancy Donahue, and son of the late Gerard and Alexina (Legere) Bourque.
Survived by his companion, two sons, Cody Bourque of Newfoundland and Dylan Bourque of St. Stephen, NB; brothers, Hilaire Bourque of BC, Emery Bourque of BC, Phillip Bourque of Ontario, Henry Bourque (Erlinda) of Alberta, Norman Bourque (Robinette) of Utah and Paul Bourque of Saint John, NB; sisters, Cecile Deveau (Roy) of St. Stephen, NB, Theresa Taylor (Burl) of Bocabec, NB, Rose-Aline MacVicar (George) of St. Stephen, Catherine Lord (William ) of Manitoba, Zita Cloney (Bennett) of Alberta, Linda Gunderson (Wayne) of BC, Bernice Fraser (Dale) of St. Stephen, NB, Maria Bourque (Tony) of Ontario, Eva Henshaw (Derek) of NS, Michelle O'Brien (Peter) of Alberta, and Angela Bourque (John) of Arizona.
Predeceased by his parents and brothers Ed Bourque, Joe Bourque, Raymond Bourque.
Ray was quiet and good hearted, always willing to help others. One of a kind, an exceptional father who loved his boys and baseball. An avid bowler and accomplished handyman. Raymond wasn't one to criticize others and as the Accountant at Lincourt Manor, he was well liked by all. He will be greatly missed by Nancy, Cody, Dylan , his sisters and brothers, as well as all whose lives he touched.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Union St., St. Stephen, NB. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St., St. Stephen on Thursday, January 12th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Andrews, NB
