Jean A. Roberts
1927 - 2021
It is with profound sadness that the family of Jean Alma Roberts of McAdam, NB. announces her passing at the Wauklehegan Manor on November 7, 2021. Born in 1927 in Amherst, NS., Jean was the daughter of the late John and Harriet Hurley. She had just celebrated her 94th birthday in September.
Jean will be sadly missed by her daughters, Jeanie Copp (Garnet), Joan Roberts (David), and Patsy Gardner (Roger), grandsons; Dwain Gardner (Shannon), David McLaughlin (Ralee), Hank Etheridge (Tanya), Danny McLaughlin (Virginia), granddaughter, Audrey Gillespie (Nicky), five great-grandsons, five great-granddaughters, one great great-grandson, one great great-granddaughter, two step grandchildren; Corey Walsh (Tara) and Maggie Walsh (Rob), two brothers-in-law, Maynard Roberts (Ella), Percy Stultz, two sisters-in-law, Gloria Oliver and Muriel Mercer (Clayton), several nieces, nephews, and special nephew, Alec Cleghorn.
In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, David Roberts, grandson, Johnny Gardner, sister, Betty Hicks, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Resting at the Voice of Pentecost Church, 82 Harvey Road, McAdam, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the church on Wednesday from 12- 2 PM. Pastor Stephen Tompkins officiating, assisted by Rev. Roger Gardner.
Please be advised, that due to mandatory regulations imposed by the New Brunswick government, everyone 12 years of age and older, must show proof of vaccination or medical exemption certificate and government issued ID to attend the funeral service. Face masks must be worn at all times while in the church.
Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.
