Jean A. Hartford

It is with great sadness we share the unexpected, yet peaceful passing of our mother Jean A. Hartford at her home on April 1, 2020.

Born in Milltown, NB. in 1929, daughter of the late Philip and Alice Doten.

Jean was the wife of the late J. Douglas Hartford; with who she created the large loving family she had always wanted. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Amos and Darla Hartford, daughter-in-law, Joanne Hartford "Phil’s wife", grandchildren, Kristopher Amos (Sarah), Angela Adams (Jack), Andrew Seamans (Karen), Jana Amos- Riley (Sean), Shelley McFarlane (Nick), Meagan Flowers (Justin), Doug Hartford (Emily), Alicia Denyer (Tom), Kyle Amos ( Marianne), great-grandchildren: Olivia and Avery Amos, Zach and Kassidy Adams, Gabrielle and Josh Seamans, Abby Amos, Seth Amos-Riley, Kaden and Jenna McFarlane, Jack and Roslyn Flowers, Owen and Ellis Hartford, Nathan Rylee and Reagan Denyer. Jean is also survived by a very special friend, Krista Amos and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Philip, sons-in-law, George Amos and Gary Colford.

Due to ongoing government protocols regarding Covid 19, a private family service and interment will take place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
