JAMES ROLAND BRIGHT- surrounded by his family, Roland Bright of McAdam passed away July 4th 2010 at the Harvey Hospital, Harvey, NB. Roland was born in McAdam October 10th 1926. Son of the late Wilfred and Mary (Scott) Bright Roland worked 41 years for CP Express and CP Transport in McAdam and Fredericton. Survived by his wife of 57 years Marguerite (Sutherland) Bright his children Alberta Smith (Neil) of McAdam, NB. Marilyn Johnston (Randy) of Harvey, NB. and Donald Bright (Brenda) of Harvey, NB. 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 9 step great grandchildren. 1 brother Daniel Bright (Beatrice) of Nepean, ON. 1 sister Lillian Cook (Giles) of McAdam, NB and several nieces and nephews. 1 sister-in-law Isabel Bright. In addition to his parents Roland was predeceased by 1 brother Lawrence and grandson Derrick Bright. Resting at St. Paul's United Church McAdam, NB with visiting hours Monday July 5, 2010 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday July 6, 2010 2 PM with Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating. Interment Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St. Paul's United Church, McAdam or the charity of ones choice.
