Inez I. McLaughlin

It is with shattered hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing our dear sweet mother, Inez I. McLaughlin on June 16, 2025, at the Charlotte County Hospital St. Stephen, New Brunswick

Born on the Scott Road in Honeydale, New Brunswick, she is the daughter of the late Hazen and Flora Townes.

Mom loved visiting her family for barbeques, playing bingo and the game of Sorry.

Inez is survived by her nine children; Lorne McLaughlin (Dawn), Alvin McLaughlin (Sheny), Lois Charters (Greg), Virginia Richard (Ronnie), Sheila Boulanger (Marco), John Ross McLaughlin, Peter McLaughlin, Bryce McLaughlin (Michelle) and Dwayne McLaughlin, eight grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; John D. McLaughlin, infant son; Leonard, daughter; Jacquline McDougall, sons-in-law; George McDougall Jr and Daniel Richard, brothers; Arthur Townes and Samuel Townes and sister; Jacqueline Golden.

By wishes of Inez, there will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at the Moores Mills Rural Cemetery, Moores Mills, New Brunswick, Monday June 23, 2025 at 2 pm, presided by Minister Lloyd Taylor.
