Henry L. Reid

REID-Henry L. Reid, son of the late Thomas and Isabella (Mills) of St. Stephen, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the Charlotte County Hospital with his family at his side.Survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine (Dempsey) Reid; son, Robert and his wife, Mary (McGeachy), Mayfield, NB; daughter, Kathy Lyons and her husband, Leslie of Barter Settlement, NB; son, Steven Reid of Saint John, NB; son, Brian and his wife, Jean of Scotch Ridge, NB; daughter, Pamela Milligan (Donald Smith) of Heathland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Christopher Lyons and his wife, Ann and two children of Alaska; Carrie Jodrie and her three children of Bangor, Maine; Celeste Reid-McPherson and her husband Shawn and their two children of Hampton, NB; Natalie Reid of Nackawic, NB; Andrea Reid of Florenceville, NB; Michael Milligan and his wife Stacey and their four children of Old Ridge, NB; Nicole Giddens and her husband Chris of Milltown, NB; Krista Kerfont of Montreal, Quebec; two step grandchildren, Diane Campbell and Danny Hayes and several nieces and nephews.Henry was a well known burner technician throughout Charlotte and Washington Counties. He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was an associate member of the Milltown Legion.Family will receive relatives and friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 4 to 6 PM, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 6 PM.In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.Condolences to the family may be made online at mehanfuneralhome.ca
