Helen Eileen (Kinney) McLay

MCLAY- At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB., Tuesday, April 5, 2016, Helen Eileen (Kinney) McLay passed peacefully.

Helen was the wife of the late Edward (Alex) McLay, Medway, Maine.

Helen was born March 10, 1919 in Rolling Dam, NB., daughter of the late Granville and Myrtle (Johnson) (Hewitt) Kinney.

She is predeceased by her only son, Earle Melvin Fullerton and two grandsons, Edwin and Tony Fullerton, BC., three sisters, Jessie Faye Kinney, Rolling Dam, NB., Leah (Ernest) Laming, Crocker Hill, and Hilda (James) Little, St. Andrews, two brothers, Alton (Evelyn) Hewitt, Calais, Maine, Willis Kinney, Gondola Point, sister-in-law, Viola (Messer) Kinney, St. Stephen, NB.

Helen is survived by one brother, Glenn Kinney, St. Stephen, NB., sister-in-law, Loreen Kinney, Gondola Point, NB, three step sons, Steven McLay (Eileen Merrill), Dewolfe, NB., George (Marie) McLay, St. Stephen, NB., Melvin "Andy" (Colleen) McLay, Edinburgh, Maine, treasured daughter-in-law, Mary Young, Millinocket, Maine. Helen has five biological grandchildren, Brenda Fullerton, St. Stephen, NB, Lynn Purcell (Richard), St. Stephen, NB., Jeffrey Fullerton, BC., Susan Fullerton, St. Stephen, NB., Gail Fullerton (Ryan), BC., three special nieces, Barbara MacKenzie, Linda Seeley, Anne Marie Brown, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Helen's life will be held at the Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, NB. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2 PM.
