Harry Leo Dever
1918 - 2012
At his residence, St. Stephen, N.B, on May 9, 2012, Harry Leo Dever of St. Stephen, N.B. Husband of the late Orpha Peterson and son of Fred and Gertrude (Densmore) Dever.
Survived by nieces, Carol Beausoleil, Jeanine Grant, Debora Joyce; nephews, Leo Beausoleil, Patrick Beausoleil; several cousins. Harry will be greatly missed by his long time friend, companion and soul mate, Tena Brown.
Harry was an avid gardener and he loved and supported his community. In recent years Harry generously contributed to many local causes that spoke to his heart. These included; Charlotte County Hospital Dialysis Unit, Salmon Fall Senior Centre, Charlotte County Cancer Society, Catholic Cemetery, St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, Milltown United Church, and many church groups and projects.
Funeral service will be held at Kirk McColl United Church, King Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM .
Interment will take place at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, St. Stephen, N.B.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #48 will conduct a tribute to a veteran service.
