It is with deep sadness that the family of Harry Lee Jr. announce his sudden passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. after a brief stay.
A proud deaf man, Harry will be remembered for his humour, smile and quick wit. He worked for over 40 years at the Flakeboard, making many wonderful friends. A lifelong Milltown boy, his move to Lonicera Hall was difficult but the staff and residents embraced him with love and support. He loved them all in return.
Harry is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jodi (Matt), who he was so proud of, along with his grandchildren, Kora, Eden, Rhiley, Haven and Shelbi, sisters, Jeannie (Steve), Janice (Bob) and Joan and sister-in-law, Jeanne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friend, Francis Bertin.
He was predeceased by his father, Harry Sr., mother, Barbara, brother, Kenneth, brothers-in-law, Hazen, Donald and Ally, nephew, Jesse.
There will be no funeral service or visitation held. Interment will take place at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Harry may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Foundation, St. Stephen Extra Mural Program or a charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who helped Harry with their love and support over the years including Extra Mural, Dr. Lalik, Staff of Lonicera Hall, doctors and nurses at CCH, along with the immense help with interpretation from the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services of NB over the many years.
