Guy E. Nason

1925 - 2026

The family are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Guy E. Nason on Saturday May 9, 2026, at the Dr Everett Chambers Regional Hospital Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Born in McAdam, NB, 1925, son of the late Edward and Eunice Nason.

In 1941, Guy started as a labourer in the shops at CP Rail in McAdam, NB. He maintained a trade in machinist; this promoted him to foreman. Guy worked in areas of Aroostook, NB and Brownville Junction, Maine. Before retirement in 1987, he was a locomotive foreman in Saint John, NB.

Guy was a member of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, for 82 years, holding the title Grand Patriarch. He was also a member of Grand Encampment.

He loved spending time at his camp at Oromocto Lake with his family and friends.

Guy will be missed and remembered as a very hard working, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who always took interest in what everyone was doing.

Survived by his children; Glen (Heather Thompson) and Donna Nason (Pat Goodine), grandchildren; Sherri (Orlando Coronado) their children; Mateo and Noah, Lori Nason (Edward Gillard), their son; Luke, Julie (Alen), their daughters; Sophia and Amelia, Heidi (Wade), their children; Hazel, Kenneth, his children; Ryan and Megan, Toby and his children; Dane, Alexa and Mila, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Aileen, his second wife; Harriett and his sister; Annie McCracken.

At Guy’s request, no visiting hours will be held.

Graveside service will be at the Rockland Cemetery McAdam, NB, time and date will be announced.
