Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, George went home to be with the Lord, on March 3, 2008. He was born at Andersonville, NB in 1934. Husband of his loving wife and friend, Carol (Emery) Anderson.Survived by one son, Tony (Jane) Anderson, of Waweig, one daughter, Terry (Dave) MacMillan of Waweig, two chosen daughters, Brenda Fullerton of Waweig, Lynn (Richard) Purcell of St. Stephen, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Annie Hovey, Old Ridge, NB, several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his mom and dad, four brothers, Harvey, Samuel, Vance and Louie, one sister, Inez.The family will receive friends at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday March 5, 2008 at 11 AM.Interment at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery.For those who wish to make a donation to the Milltown Baptist Church Building Fund, Oak Bay Cemetery, Hospice, Extra Mural Program or donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
