SCOTT-Gary Lawrence Scott passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital, Friday, December 4, 2009, after a year long courageous battle with cancer. Born in McAdam on March 28, 1950. Gary was the son of Doris (Mires) Scott and the late Granville Carr Scott.Survived by his mother; Doris; his son, Christopher Gary Scott and wife Crystal, Saint John; his daughter, Tammy Lynn Sprague, Long Beach, California; his granddaughter, Chelsey Journay Scott; niece, Tanya Lynn and Brett Estey, St. Stephen; two brothers; Gerald and Betty Scott and Family, Eugene Jenkins and Judy Eurb, Diane and Family; four sisters, Gail McIntyre and Family, Maureen and Edward Gayton and Family, Pat and George O’Brien and Family and Linda Hayward and Dennis Armstrong and Family.Predeceased by his grandparents, Lila and Millen Scott, Louisa and Leonard Mires; his three sisters, Jacqueline McMorran, Lorna Seeley and Sandra Daggett; nephews, Ricky Seeley, Russell McMorran; uncles, Lenny and Albert Mires, Jack Massie, Frank Purton, aunts, Mona, Carrie Beulah, Charlotte, Nellie, uncles, Speck, Maynard, Lloyd, Peter, Lawrence.Gary worked for Atlantic Home Improvements for 11 years, Mount Pleasant Mines, Carpenter work for Robert Roy, Allen Parks, Steeple Jack Leslie Caldwell.Gary was an outdoor person loved hunting and fishing, spending time at the camp in Brockway canoeing with his tow dear friends Jim Cairnes and Dennis Armstrong.Gary wanted us to thank all his neighbours, friends and coworkers, Extra Mural-Nurses and Program, Charlotte County Hospital Floor I, Palliative Care, Dr. Reimen, Dr. Naz, Dr. Garland, Oncology, Saint John, Dr. Clarke, Dr. Greene, Dr. Goulding, Dr. Desmond, Dr. Lalik, Dr. Kostovic, Winnifred Young, Shoppers Drugs, Gordie Haun, Dixie and Billy Keenan, Cindy and Jim Daigle, Edna and Kenny Shaw, our taxi people-Dennis Armstrong, Ivan Arsenault, Brenda and Dave Richardson, Sandra Thomas, Blair and Elaine Cook, Erica and Steve Boone and kids, Edith Kirk, Jan and Duane Ellis, Charlie and Bonnie Estey, Bonnie Epstein Tricia and Joey Richardson, Paul and Carolyn Wilson, Patricia and Claire Walsh, Moncton, Shirley Johnston, Louise and Basil Noddin, Mary and Fred Reid, Robert and Maryann Poirier.To all those who called, visited and just remembering us at this difficult time, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.At Gary’s request no visitation will be held.
