Franklin “Frank” M. Babcock
1949 - 2025
Franklin M. Babcock of Oak Bay, NB passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital St Stephen, NB on Monday June 9, 2025.
Born in St Stephen, NB in 1949, son of the late Frank and Pauline (Gayton) Babcock.
Frank is survived by his loving daughter; Megan Mannen (Coleman), his grandsons; Shawn Lapp and Samuel Mannen, his brothers and sisters; Sandra Dever, Bill (Nadine) Babcock, Nancy (Benny) White, Tim (Mary) Babcock, Tom (Joanne) Babcock, Larry (Pam) Babcock and Jeff Babcock (Krista), sister-in-law; Deborah Babcock, brother-in-law; Larry Doherty, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, his best friend and loving wife; Aldana (February 2025), sister; Sharon Doherty, brothers; Bobby and Paul, brother-in-law; Fred Dever.
Frank worked at Flakeboard Company (Arauco), for forty years, retiring in 2014 as Maintenance Coordinator. After retirement, his greatest passion was golf, hunting, spending time at the camp with family, woodworking, curling, loved mowing his lawns and landscaping.
As per Frank’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB on Monday June 23, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm.
