Frances Voutt

It is with great sadness, the family of Frances Voutt of Dewolfe, New Brunswick, wife of the late David Voutt, announce her passing at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, New Brunswick on Saturday August 17, 2024, with her family at her side.

Born in Lynnfield, daughter of the late Orlen and Minnie (Weeks) Gullison.

Frances had many family and friends that loved her dearly.  She was a kind, loving woman, loved spending time with her family.  You could walk into her home at any given time of day and there would always be a pot of soup or macaroni with tomatoes, on the back of the stove and daily the aroma of fresh bread and cookies from the oven.  She always prepared enough for an army, as she didn’t ever know when her children would bring the neighbours home for a bite to eat as well.  Every Sunday, the family meeting place was always Frances’ home.

Frances grew up in the church, she loved being a Sunday School teacher to all the kids around.

Frances leaves to mourn her children, David, Sandra (Bob), Lester, Royce, Debbie (Ted), Dale (Coleen), Donna (Todd), Larry (Sandy), Angie (John), Denise (Frank), Kim and Joey (Judy), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was predeceased by her daughter Nancy, sons, Darrell and Orlen, grandson Ryan, granddaughter, Holly, several great-grandchildren, brothers, Wilfred and Phillip, sisters, Violet and Vera, son-in-law, Jimmy, daughters-in-law, Dorothy, Larraine and Marilyn.

The family would like to thank the care and kitchen staff at Lincourt Manor.  Frances had the best care while she was a resident, the care staff always went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable.  The kitchen staff, made sure the family always had coffee, water and lots of snacks while we were with Mom. 

Combined funeral services will be held for Frances Voutt, David Voutt (2016) and Darrell Voutt (2018) at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Limited 23 Main Street St Stephen, NB on Monday August 26, 2024 at 2 pm.

Interment will be at the Moores Mills Rural Cemetery Moores Mills, NB following the service.
