In Loving Memory Of

Eric A. Boon

1948 - 2026

The world became a little less bright on Monday May 25, 2026, with the passing of Eric A. Boon, McAdam, New Brunswick.

Born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, 1948, son of the late Arnold and Avis Boon.

Eric’s unending sense of humour and kindness brought joy to everyone around him. He spent his career with CP Rail until retirement in 1998 which brought him back home for good. Eric was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He spent many years at his earthly paradise, Canuck Lodge on Wauklehegan Lake.

While we lost our beloved husband, Dad and Bamp, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. He has been a rock to many, a master at humour and quick wit to others. There was so much more to him than husband, Dad and Bamp – he was a brother, stand in father figure and a devoted servant to the Lord.

Eric leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter; so much laughter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; Marlene, children; Daniel (Tammy), Dale and Tammy (Calvin). His legacy also lives on through his beloved grandchildren; Natasha (Ryan), Dawson (Laura), Breena (Mitchel), Justin, Jared (Chantal), Janelle, Jewel and Jennifer (Neil), great-grandchildren; Isabella, Theo and Emery, his brother; Raye (Marilyn), along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law; Eva and Russell Nason, brothers-in-law; Cecil Nason and Leon Nason and sister-in-law; Carolyn Nason.

Visitation will be held at The Voice of Pentecostal Church, Harvey Road McAdam, New Brunswick on Wednesday May 27, 2026, from 6 - 8 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 2 pm.
