Survived by her children Michael (Marilyn) Smith, St. Stephen, NB; Maureen (David) Stevenson, Pleasant Vale, NB; Paul (Murielle) Smith, Calgary, AB; Christopher (Marie) Smith, Ottawa, ON; Timothy (Manon Arbour) Smith, Montreal, PQ ; ten grandchildren Jamieson Smith, Gregory Smith, Krista McFarlane; Aaron Stevenson, Corey Stevenson, Maris Stevenson; Melanie Fisher, Amanda Freer, Gareth Smith, Sacha Arbour Smith; 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, Arlene McDowell, Eleanor Russell, Marie Merriam, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her husband Seldon Francis Smith and parents Edwin and Sarah (Smith) Silk.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Kirk McColl United Church, King Street, St. Stephen on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The St. Croix Branch #9 Ladies Auxiliary will hold a tribute service at the funeral home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., followed by the St. Stephen Chapter #8 O.E.S. at 6:45 p.m.

Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
