Eleanor was an accomplished quilter. Her life was like the carefully crafted blocks she
would sew into those pieces of practical functional art. Each heirloom, hand stitched with
Love. Each unique stitch a memory in the thread of a life well and fully lived. Known as "Nornee"
by some & "my Other Mother" by many, she finished her own life quilt on April 20th,2020. She
was always known to have a bag packed for a trip. Eleanor was at peace with the world, looking
forward to meeting her Maker. Her last block ….the gold & white Dove of the Holy Spirit, red
Hearts of all sizes for all of us and a robin as a sign of spring, renewal, and Hope, yes always
HOPE. Safe travels Eleanor…
